The POA-1200 is a low cost, reliable power failure alarm used extensively as a "bedside alarm" to awaken the user if power fails during the night. There are numerous other applications where power should be monitored at all times.

To operate, simply plug it into a 120 volt receptacle, turn the switch to "Arm", and if power is lost a loud buzzer sounds. Buzzer is rated 70dB @ 20cm. To test the unit, just unplug it to make sure it buzzes, then plug it back in. The power source for the buzzer is a common 9 volt battery for easy replacement when necessary.

When used properly and tested periodically, the POA-1200 will provide you with years of satisfactory use. You will have peace of mind knowing it is there to alert you to a power failure, which could otherwise be catastrophic.
