 Recently I purchased a Kalglo heater and had a plug problem which involved returning one model and getting another. This happened very quickly and the new heater was hung on the old ones chains......The day AFTER I hung the new heater, my mare aborted, or attempted to, without help during the night. She was too early in her gestation, although the foal was too big and too twisted for her to get out alone. We did not have the cameras on yet and she had a horrible night. I found her in the morning at 6, too weak to do much but stand and walk a few steps, only to collapse again.
We got her up and under the new Kalglo heater, turned on high, and waited for the vets. They finally got the dead foal out but Lucy was shocky and exhausted. I kept telling my husband (who had asked me three times WHY we needed this expensive heater?) "Thank God for the heater!" She spent three whole days under the heater and progressively improved. It has been ten days now and Lucy is back to her old self, BUT would have died if she hadn't been under the Kalglo!

To Whom It May Concern;
I purchased 4 of your Radiant Heaters against the advice of our Veterinarian. They are terrific, the horses are comfortable in this -2 degree temperatures, the barn cats are always on their hay bales under the heaters and all is well. We keep the heaters on 5, and the horses can either be under the heater or move away from it if they prefer. They all sleep under their heaters lying down on their straw and stall pads.
